My Firex Model G-6 has just started "chirping." Have you figured out the problem? I'm going to call the manufacturer and see if they have an answer.
: Same problem here I have the model G-6 a multiple station Smoke Detector (4). 2 year old home, just started a few weeks ago. Goes off in the middle of the night, did it 4 times one night, I have unhooked them all until I can solve the problem. These are wired into the house power with no battery back up. Any answers yet? They look clean and free of any dirt. I live in the southeast, haven't turned on any heat yet.
